24 DIYs of Christmas: DIY # 18

If there is anything most parents can agree on, it’s that Frozen swept our kids up!

That’s why I wanted to do a DIY version of this awesome ornament I saw a picture of!

Today we are making: Olaf Tree Ornaments!

For this DIY you will need:
Clear Plastic Fillable Ornament
White Sand
Silver Sharpie
Brown Polymer Clay
Orange Polymer Clay
Black Polymer Clay

Directions:

Step One: Use the polymer clay to make the snowmen pieces. Use the black to roll into balls for the eyes, and to make a little black bowtie. Use the orange to make a carrot nose. Use the brown to make into sticks for the arms. Leave the pieces out to dry for a few hours. If you are feeling brave you can bake them! Bake at 275 °F (130 °C) for 30 minutes per 1/4 in (6 mm) thickness. DO NOT MICROWAVE. Baking should be completed by an adult. DO NOT EXCEED THE ABOVE TEMPERATURE OR RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.

Step Two: Take your silver sharpie and write your quote on the outisde of the clear ornament. Suggestions for what to write-
“Some people are worth melting for”
“I like warm hugs”
“In summer…”

Note: Allow time for the ornament to dry.

Step Three: Fill the ornament halfway with the white sand. Then put the snowman pieces on top!

That’s it! These are so much fun, and super easy to make. Don’t forget to submit pictures of your projects! You can end up in my monthly newsletter!

Happy Holidays,
