There are so many ways to motivate yourself into completing your goals…
You can get text reminders about kicking butt, you can journal, there are Facebook groups ( including my own 2017 Motivational Women’s Group, feel free to join!) Today we are going to talk about my personal favorite motivational technique- Vision Boards. Vision boards are so great for putting a picture to your goals, and sticking to them!
What is a vision board, you ask?
A visual board is a physical representation of goals and dreams you may have. Humans are incredibly visual creatures. Just ask Pinterest creator, Ben Silberman! Pinterest is one giant vision board! I even included some great pictures below to give you ideas on creating your own vision board for your goals!
How do I make one?
The great thing about these is the fact that there are so many different ways to do it. But here are the instructions for the way I personally do them:
Step 1: Go through your magazines and cut out pictures and words that speak to you and your goals. Keep them in a plastic sandwich bag if your project spans a few days.
Step 2: Glue or tape you pictures to the poster board. You can do it collage style and cover the whole thing, you can be organized and put them into categories, anything you want!
Step 3: Use the markers to finish off the project! Anything to personalize it to YOU.
Here are some great examples:
Remember: Be honest about what you want and dream big! The intent of these boards is to motivate YOU! Don’t worry about other people, what’s on their boards, or what they will think of yours.
